Struggling to find a suitable sports bra? Come to Loughborough University with Progressive Sports and test a number of high quality sports bras whilst running on a treadmill.
We will reward you with a £30 amazon voucher as a thank you.
What we need…
We require female participants, aged between 18 and 54, and bra size of 36C, 36DD and 38D.
What is involved…?
The study will involve two sessions. The first is a bra fitting session which will last approximately 15 minutes. This fitting session will ensure that you are the correct size for the study. If the fitting is successful, the second session will take place in the Sports Technology Institute’s Lab on the Loughborough University campus.
This second session will last up to 2 hours, during which we will be comparing the performance of 8 different sport bras. During the testing, you will be asked to run 8 times for 90 seconds (90 seconds per sport bra) at 8-10km/h.
Small markers will be attached at key locations on the body and breasts, allowing us to record the motion of the key body regions. Markers located in sensitive areas will be placed by yourself. Questions about the comfort and support of the bras will be asked before and after the testing of each bra.
The study will be conducted by a male researcher but your privacy will be protected.
The study will take place in June and july 2022, at the Sports Technology Institute (Michael Pearson East) based on Loughborough University campus.
