Purebreathe is a breathing filter that protects against urban air pollution, dust and pollen. LifeLab innovations of Brunel University approached Progressive to re-design Purebreathe ready for launch prior to Beijing 2008. Currently being used by Team GB athletes in their Olympic build-up, Purebreathe is soon to be commercially available.

Clarks shoes

Our understanding of the human technology interface has been successfully implemented by Clarks. Progressive have been working on the validation of early stage footwear prototypes with this household brand. Clarks are a brand who take comfort and functionality very seriously and Progressive aim to fulfil this requirement by application of our expertise.

Nike rugby

Nike 2007 Rugby World Cup Jersey
Following a series of shirt failures during the 2003 Rugby World Cup, Nike approached Progressive with the thought that the current rugby jersey specifications were not giving a realistic indication of the shirt's requirements whilst on the pitch. In 2004 Nike commissioned the world's first dynamic rugby shirt test rig in order to mechanically test their jerseys in a repeatable environment. This relationship is ongoing as Progressive continue to test all new Nike shirt developments.

Canterbury Rugby

For the last 2 years, Progressive have been conducting PhD level research into rugby apparel testing techniques to aid the development of the 2007 Rugby World Cup shirt. Superior grip, improved thermal management and position-specific design are just some of the innovative features to enhance player performance.

The i.play system represents a significant breakthrough in children’s play. Combining interactive electronics with conventional playground equipment, it has been created to break the vicious cycle of sedentary behaviour resulting in rising childhood obesity. Developed by Playdale in conjunction with Progressive Sports Technologies, i.play has been designed to intelligently adjust according to children’s performance.

From February 2007, England will be sporting a highly advanced shirt featuring the latest Climate Control Technology.Progressive Sports used rigorous scientific analysis and a detailed understanding of the athlete and their environment to help Umbro validate their latest 'trilogy' fabric system.

The most innovative and versatile exercise platform around. Developed in partnership with and licensed exclusively to Reebok, it offers a truly dynamic total body workout for home or gym use. Launched to critical acclaim at IHRSA, the world's largest fitness industry show in Las Vegas in March 2004, The Deck is currently available in studios across the world and will be hitting the high street in the near future.

Respivest

Is an innovative garment that helps boost athletic performance by training breathing muscles. Its unique patented technology squeezes the chest, restricting its expansion, to make the muscles work harder. The device has attracted extensive international media and consumer interest and is currently ongoing user trials by major GB athletes. All being well RespiVest will be on the high street soon.

Spalding USA

In 2006 Spalding released a synthetic basketball to be used during the 06-07 NBA season. Initial reactions to the ball were not desirable; players complained of small lacerations on the tips of the fingers and palm of the hand. Consequently, Spalding commissioned Progressive to test and evaluate the balls characteristics, in order for them to design a better solution.
